The school has a thriving Parent Teacher Association which meets approximately once a month during term time and organises a range of events that both raise funds for charity, the school and provide opportunities for parents and families to socialise.
All parents and carers connected with the school are invited to join the PTA to help in the planning of these events. The PTA helps to organise the annual Christmas Fair and a Bring & Share lunch in late spring.
Last year we have held a Quarry Light Trail, the 12 treats of Christmas, a school disco and an Easter egg raffle. We had a plant sale in May and a sponsored hunt for the missing King’s Crown Jewels, Our bring and share lunch was a fantastic opportunity to meet socially and celebrate what a wonderful year it had been.
The money the PTA raises pays for:
- the coloured school bags given to each child
- termly donations to every group to pay for additional supplies and trips
- 50% donation to the cost of an annual farm visit to the school and for egg hatching in the spring
- ad hoc requests from the school throughout the year.
If you are interested in joining the PTA, or receiving minutes from our meetings, please email the PTA- firstname.lastname@example.org or give your contact details to the school office.
